Statkraft, Europe’s largest renewable power generator, have confirmed they will be maintaining their strong support of journalism in the Highlands and Islands through their sponsorship of the Highlands and Islands Press Ball and Media Awards 2024 (HIPBMA)

Their significant backing is vital to the running of the event and this will take them into a third year of support.

Chairman of the Highlands and Islands Press Ball, John Ross, said: “In such turbulent economic times we very much welcome having the confirmed support of Statkraft.
