Money raised at the Highlands and Islands Press Ball and Media Awards will help an Inverness charity support growing demand for its services.
The Oxygen Works is one of four organisations who each received £850 from fundraising at HIPBMA in February.
The self-funded charity provides a range of therapies to individuals living with various conditions in the Highlands and Islands and beyond.
Founded more than 30 years ago, it has continued to develop and in 2024 there were over 4,500 appointments in its hyperbaric chamber alone.
A further 2,000 people attended other therapies including physiotherapy, massage, Bowen Therapy, Theraplate and podiatry.
Numbers are growing all the time, with more than 80 new inquiries since the start of the year.
The HIPBMA donation will help towards a range of current projects.
The charity has had to invest in a new software system to cope with its expanding client database.
Rising numbers have also led to it taking on a new member of staff to provide additional support for its community.
Longer term, The Oxygen Works hopes to move to bigger, purpose-built premises when funds allow.
In the meantime, with the help of local businesses and some funding from Highlands and Islands Enterprise, it is to convert its garage into a new office.
The management team will be moving in to the new office area, creating space for another therapy room in the existing building.
This will help expand services while increasing income generation to the centre from room rental.
